Report on the extent of disruptions across all services, the reasons for disruptions, and the mitigation strategies countries are using to maintain service delivery. The report was based on insight from country key informants into the impact of COVID-19 on essential health services across the life course. 80% of the 105 responding countries had established packages of essential health services prior to the pandemic and 66% of these countries had already identified a core set of services to be maintained during the COVID-19 pandemic. All services were affected, including essential services for communicable diseases, noncommunicable diseases, mental health, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health, and nutrition services.
