Report on the proceedings of the Global Forum on Nutrition-Sensitive Social Protection Programs, held 10-11 Sept 2015. The event provided a space for in-depth conversations anchored to country case studies that featured programs integrating social protection instruments and nutrition principles. In light of the increasing role of effective nutrition-sensitive social protection programs, the global development agenda called for the profile of nutrition to be raised by ensuring strong leadership and commitment at all levels and across multiple sectors. Partnerships are playing an increasingly important role in the development of assistance architecture. The Global Forum on Nutrition-Sensitive Social Protection Programs aimed to support these efforts by contributing to the evidence base for policy options and operational actions.
